French Bean Salad
 
 


     
Directions   Ingredients

1. Blanch green beans in boiling water for 3 minutes until al dente. Cool down in ice water to stop the cooking and drain the green beans.

2. In a large bowl, combine green beans with diced shallots, toasted pistachios and oil.

3. Add salt and pepper to taste. Toss green beans with parsley and chopped chives. Serve at room temperature.
 
2 pounds of green beans
5 tablespoons of toasted pistachio
1 teaspoon of diced shallots
2 tablespoons of pistachio oil
1 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
2 tablespoons of chopped Italian parsley
1 tablespoon of chopped chives
